There are so many options for wedding favors for friends and family attending your ceremony and reception. There are picture frames that can also be used as place card holders, novelty favors for almost every season or theme, and many other super ideas. I wanted to give our friends and family something that was gorgeous, but at the same time, something I knew they would use, so I decided on candle wedding favors. With the decorative favor boxes I found online, I also wanted to attached personalized hang tags on each gift.
I added some candles weddings to every reception table to add to the ambiance of the wedding. With all the accessories necessary for a nice wedding and reception, I was really lucky to find a nice five piece accessory set, which included my guestbook, wedding pen set, ring pillow and bridal garter and a really gorgeous little flower girl basket. That really helped us out in the financials of buying all the wedding supplies we need. That’s another thing I like about where I got our wedding supplies, the prices are so reasonable, and they even had discount candles wedding favors.
We ordered a customized wedding cake topper and expected to pay a lot more than we actually did for it. They made the wedding couple on our cake topper look exactly like us and it was the talk of the reception. All that was required of us was to turn in a couple of head shots of each of us so they would have something to work with. The pink and red flowers on our lovely chocolate wedding cake with the three tiers was really a picture in itself. Next to our beautiful cake was the cake serving set I went crazy over, with it’s handles decorated in a gorgeous calla lily design.
The crystal flutes we got for our friends and family were for them to keep and we ordered special bride and groom flutes for our bridal table. We have no use for 200 champagne glasses, so why not let our friends and family have them as keepsakes? We had enough momentos of our wedding day, like our photo album, topper, wedding guestbook with all the signatures and so much more. One of the items in our five piece wedding set was the claret colored wedding guestbook with guest sign in pages, a place to list the gifts we received and a special spot for those little momentos. It’s nice to look back someday and see the names of all that celebrated your special day with you, and it comes in handy when you are preparing your thank you cards for everyone. You want to be able to mention the gift they gave you when writing out your thank you cards, it’s much more personal that way.
I guess most of our guests really like the unique candle wedding favors we chose for their thank you gifts, some of them expressed their appreciation. So, I guess I made the right choice. Everyone also told me what a great time they were having at the reception, and as we were leaving they all gave us their best wishes for a happy life. Our wedding day is a day that will live long in our memories.
