We picked January for the wedding day since I have always wanted a wedding that had a winter motif. There are so many beautiful accessories and reception supplies to make the perfect wintery wedding dream come true. From wedding invitations to wedding favors there are all kinds and styles of accessories to choose from for almost any themed wedding you’re planning to have. We went with a cool blue and silver look to our ceremony. Our altar had replica snowflakes next to the unity candle and other candles, which all had a wintry look to them. The ceremony had a lovely, pristine look to it.
The white tableclothes at our reception looked lovely next to the red table runners on each table. We put shimmering silver vases in the center of each table and filled them with lovely white orchids, and they matched the winter theme to a tee. Our reception place card holders were ornaments that looked like little snowballs. They double as both card holders and ornaments, and they do a charming job at both. Everyone one received toasting flutes and champagne bottles favors from us as a token of our appreciation. wedding toasting flutes make great little thank you gifts. All of our tables were magnificently set up and shined with all the glitter and glamour of the winter time. The wedding cake topper we picked out was a snowflake made of porcelain, and our three-layered wedding cake sat atop a cake stand that was shaped like a sleigh. I picked out the cake serving set on the net, and it had wintery designs on it, too. Small snowflakes in shades of blue and white were on the handles. It was an exact match for the sign-in book and pen set I had bought.
The artwork on the the cake serving utensils and the guestbook was identical to that on the toasting flute, and they all looked brilliant. The other things on our wedding table went perfectly with them, and they were designed with a wintery blue and white look with snowflakes mixed in. Our reception guests loved the place card holders and other gifts that they received, and the look of the tables was to die for. We got our flower girl a necklace and we we let her keep the small crown she wore in the ceremony, and she was pleased with both of them. The ring boy thought the ring bearer tee shirt and stainless steel yoyo was pretty cool. For my bridesmaids I chose tank tops with bridesmaid written across in in crystals and for my maid of honor I picked out a maid of honor shirt and a crystal bracelet. The men’s presents were handled by my groom. He bought a best man mug and a neat pen set for the best man, and everyone else received a battery-operated digital clock. I could tell that all of our friends and family were having a fantastic time at the reception and they all seemed to like the little favors and gifts we bought for them.
The array of wedding materials I found on the net made our ceremony and reception a dream come true,for both of us. The prices that we found on the Internet were so good that we saved a significant amount of money by looking there. I found supplies for both the wedding and the honeymoon online. We got a ‘Do Not Disturb’ pillow to hang on our doorknob, along with hats and shirts for newlyweds. We got plenty of use out of that pillow.
