You can find so many ideas for thank you gifts for your guests that share you wedding and reception with you. There are picture frames that can also be used as place card holders, novelty favors for almost every season or theme, and many other super ideas. For our thank you gifts to our guests, we decided on candle wedding favors, because they’re not only beautiful, but they are practical too. With the decorative favor boxes I found online, I also wanted to attached personalized hang tags on each gift.
I also bought lovely wedding candle centerpieces, just to add to the décor of all my reception tables. They really looked nice with all the other decorations and the lovely centerpieces I got from the florist. I bought a complete five piece wedding set which has a wedding guestbook and matching pen set, flower basket, ring pillow and a very nice wedding garter. Buying it in a set was less expensive than buying each piece individually. Our wedding cake topper was really spectacular and it didn’t cost near as much as we expected a customized cake topper would cost. Our guests got a real kick out of our cake topper because the bride and groom looked just like us. All I had to do was send them a head shot picture of me and my fiance and they did the rest. The wedding cake itself was pretty magnificent too, with three tiers of chocolate perfection and gorgeous red and and pink flowers all around it. Next to our beautiful cake was the cake serving set I went crazy over, with it’s handles decorated in a gorgeous calla lily design.
The crystal flutes we got for our friends and family were for them to keep and we ordered special bride and groom flutes for our bridal table. We figured it would make more sense to let our guests have them as souveniers then to try to find a place to put 200 champagne flutes. With our guestbook with all the signatures, our gorgeous picture album, our very unique wedding cake topper and so much more, we really didn’t need much else for keepsakes. One of the items in our five piece wedding set was the claret colored wedding guestbook with guest sign in pages, a place to list the gifts we received and a special spot for those little momentos. It’s nice to look back someday and see the names of all that celebrated your special day with you, and it comes in handy when you are preparing your thank you cards for everyone. You want to be able to mention the gift they gave you when writing out your thank you cards, it’s much more personal that way.
Some of our friends and family complimented me on my choice of unique candle wedding favors as their thank you gifts, and told me how much they liked them. Looks like a made a wise choice in wedding favors. We were told, by our guests, as we departed for our honeymoon, that it was a fantastic wedding and reception and they all hoped for the best for us. This day in my life, I will always remember and cherish.
