I really like a theme wedding. They can really be a blast. I got to go to a really super wedding and reception last weekend. The ceremony and reception was done in country western.
A quaint little country church was the location of the wedding ceremony. It was really quite lovely with lots of flowers and candles around the altar, and satin bows and ribbons connected at the end of the pews. The baby blue dresses that the bridesmaids and flower girl wore were simply gorgeous, and the flowered hair pieces were a lovely added touch. The groomsmen and ring boy looked quite handsome in their tuxes with little white boutonnieres in their lapels. But the real attraction was the beautiful bride and her elegant groom. They were a picure perfect couple. A horse drawn buggy awaited to take the bride and groom to the reception.
Since they chose a ranch to buy as their first home, they thought that would be the perfect place to hold the reception. What a gorgeous place they had with a beautiful house and horse barn on two acres. I would have loved to have started my married life out in a place like this.
You could tell at one glance how hard she worked at setting this reception in motion. It was absolutely perfect. Wild flowers centered on each table really gave it that down home look. She did a fantastic job, not just with the décor, but also the themed favors. There were strings of white christmas lights all around the picnic tables, with a few old fashioned lanterns here and there. With the décor consisting of hay bales and corn stalks on the barn doors, this really gave the perfect appearance of a country reception. There were so much set up for adults and kids to enjoy. My husband and I did a little dancing while some played horse shoes or gave apple bobbing a try. Everyone was having the time of their lives.
They had a gorgeous cake with a funny country western cake topper that gave everyone a good laugh. It was the perfect themed cake topper. I wish I knew where she got those adorable country themed champagne flutes. And she made place card holders out of these little cowboy hats. That was such a unique idea.
There was plenty of delicious foods for everyone at the party. Since this was more like a country barbecue, there was plenty choices of meats, salads and vegetables. There was plenty of great food to choose from. It was a great reception, plenty to eat, great tunes to dance to and games to keep the kids happy for hours. We all had a wonderful time at the country western themed party.
A beach themed reception is another great party to go to. The beauty of a beach wedding is just amazing. It’s so romantic with the sunset above the ocean. With the feel of warm breezes and the sounds of the water, you can feel the romance in the air. On my wedding day, I want to have a wedding ceremony just like this one.
It was such a relaxed ceremony, with all wedding party and beautiful summer dresses and beach wear. She made a lovely bride in her ocean blue flowing crepe dress, and he was such a handsome groom in his white linen beach outfit. The whole ceremony was absolute perfection, just like dream.
Their reception was more than elegant too. All the tables were decorated with the beach theme in mind. Seashells, orchids and little starfish placed in a sand filled tray, with a gorgeous white candle on each side, was her centerpieces. She had the most adorable sea shell place card holders and beautiful beach themed champagne glasses on all her tables.
Her beach décor was fabulous and she had everything from a beach cake topper to theme wedding cakes that worked perfectly. This was truly a wedding and reception to remember.

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009A theme wedding is my favorite. They truly can be a lot of fun. I just went to one of the best weddings and receptions I’ve ever attended. The ceremony and reception was done in country western.
They chose a small country church to hold the wedding ceremony. They had satin bows and ribbon to decorate the pews and beautiful flower arrangements with candles all around the altar. The baby blue dresses that the bridesmaids and flower girl wore were simply gorgeous, and the flowered hair pieces were a lovely added touch. The tuxes with the white boutonnieres in the lapels made the groomsmen and the little ring boy looked quite handsome. But all eyes were focused on the elegant bride and groom. They made such a handsome couple. When the ceremony ended the happy couple left for the reception in a horse drawn buggy.
The couple had purchased a nice little ranch outside of town and that’s where they decided to have their reception. What a gorgeous place they had with a beautiful house and horse barn on two acres. I hate to admit it, but I’m a little jealous of all they have accomplished just starting out.
You could tell she put a lot of effort into planning this reception. It was absolutely perfect. All the tables had red and white checkered table cloths, with little metal buckets of wildflowers in them. She did a fantastic job, not just with the décor, but also the themed weddings. There were strings of white christmas lights all around the picnic tables, with a few old fashioned lanterns here and there. The corn stalks and bales of hay really made this the perfect picture of a down home reception. They had things for the children to do so they could have as good a time as the grown ups. My husband and I did a little dancing while some played horse shoes or gave apple bobbing a try. We were all having a fantastic time.

The fun never stopped, we danced, ate great foods, and had a fantastic time. The country western theme was a blast.
Another fun reception is a beach party reception. A beach wedding ceremony is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. You can feel the romance in the air as the sun sets on the horizon. With the feel of warm breezes and the sounds of the water, you can feel the romance in the air. On my wedding day, I want to have a wedding ceremony just like this one.
It was such a relaxed ceremony, with all wedding party and beautiful summer dresses and beach wear. Her gorgeous crepe bridal dress was as blue as the ocean waters, and his white linen attire made him even more handsome than he already was. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect ceremony than this wonderful dream wedding.
Not only was the ceremony fantastic, but the reception was exceptional too. Everything for her table décor had something to do with the oceanside. She had a wonderful idea for centerpieces, with seashells, starfish and orchids surrounding two large white candles in a tray of sand. She had the most adorable sea shell place card holders and beautiful beach themed champagne glasses on all her tables.
Her beach décor was fabulous and she had everything from a beach cake topper to theme wedding favors that worked perfectly. This was a ceremony and reception I will never forget.
Choosing a summer favor!
Thursday, December 3rd, 2009Planning an outside wedding wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be. It turns out that it was a lot cheaper in cost than it would have been to have an indoor wedding. Since we had the flowers and mother nature everywhere, I didn’t have to spend a lot of money on decorations. The first thing I had to do was to find the perfect location to have our summer wedding and reception. Instead of having our wedding ceremony and reception on the beach or in a garden, I chose to have it in the park. I was surprised at all the parks available for weddings.
I decided to go online and get some expert advice on how to plan the perfect outdoor wedding. If you’re going to have your ceremony outside, it’s a good idea to have an alternative plan just in case the weather turns on you. So we arranged to have a tent set up to move the ceremony into if necessary, just as a precaution.
In our original wedding preparations, we had a lovely canopy set up for the reception and a lovely trellis for our ceremony. I only had to get decorations for my bridal table and the reception tables for our friends and family. About all I needed were a extra flowers and my table settings, thanks to the already present beauty of the park. By using artificial flowers I thought we may be able to avoid any univited guests, like bees. You couldn’t tell they were artificial they were so beautiful,they looked like the real deal. Planning this wedding wasn’t all that hard, but there was a little more than I expected. You have to make sure your cake is safe from the summer sun, make sure you have citronella candles at your reception and that your tent has nearby rest room areas. [There was a variety of accessories available for the outdoor reception. I had little park bench place card holders at each table setting, and little citronella votive candles in glass globes with a nice flower arrangement as our centerpieces. For each of our guests there were beautiful chrome bottle openers in lovely designed favor boxes, as a summer wedding invitation. The most beautiful part of our wedding table was our cake with it’s gorgeous wedding cake topper.
I found it while browsing online for my other wedding accessories, and fell in love with it. They were especially customized for the bride and groom. After I sent them a head shot of my fiance and myself they made our bride and groom topper to look exactly like us. What a wonderful momento of our wedding day. All of our guests were so impressed with our topper, they couldn’t stop talking about it. Everything I ordered for our ceremony and reception was the best in wedding accessories, especially our crystal champagne flutes and silver cake serving set. It’s unbelievable all the lovely accessories you can purchase from you computer.
It was the perfect wedding and reception, just like I had hoped for. The weather cooperated and we never had to go to plan “B” with the tents. The DJ we hired was really exceptional and I’m sure that the music played on long after my new husband and I left for our honeymoon. There were many good comments about our beautiful wedding ceremony and fun filled reception party we had. I’m so glad I decided to go with a wedding in the park. I’d love to do this again and have a wedding renewal in the park, maybe for an anniversary, someday.

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009After it was decided that we were going to have a beach wedding, I went shopping for accessories and supplies with a beach theme in mind. I started with our beach themed wedding invitations. One thing I discovered was to be sure you always buy extra invitations, just in case you make a mistake and have yourself a do over, like I did. Now that the invitations were in the mail, it was time to find my beautiful beach wedding dress. I looked at several dresses and gorgeous full length gowns, but really couldn’t make up my mind. I was unsure about the two full length wedding gowns I found, I didn’t want to be uncomfortable at my beach wedding. I found a beautiful beaded knee length dress made of light weight materials of satin and lace, with spaghetti straps for my wedding.
My bridesmaids looked so lovely in their haltered beach dresses of cool linen with a crocheted bodice. All the groomsmen wore linen white shirts and sand colored pants and my husband, to be looked so handsome in his blue linen shirt and white pants. The little sundress our flower girl wore looked so adorable on her and our ring boy looked so cute in his little khaki shorts and white shirt. Everyone in the wedding party looked fantastic and the bouquets were absolutely the most beautiful arrangements I could have found.
With all the pictures I wanted taken of our wedding ceremony and reception, maybe I should have bought two albums for wedding. I expect photos of every person here and everything at our wedding including our reception and the beautiful beach décor. I especially wanted photos of us taking our vows under the beautiful flowered arch and satin canopy we had put up. When the ceremony was over, my new husband and I went to our hotel room to change into some more comfortable beach outfits. Some of the bridesmaids and groomsmen wore their swim wear under their wedding clothes, and some went home to change. I wrote on all the invitations to dress in casual clothing for this wedding.
Our guests seemed impressed with the wedding accessories for our reception tables that were done in a beach themed décor. The place I shopped not only had the beach wedding album I wanted, but so many more accessories to go with it. I found the cutest little beach chairs as place card holders that they can use for their favorite little photo later. The guests seemed to like them, and I thought they were just adorable. I also found the perfect beach wedding favors for our friends and family. I chose adorable tea lights that looked just like sand castles to remind them of our beach party. I found quite a bit of accessories and decorations for our beach themed reception tables and the bride and groom table as well. I not only bought our beach themed wedding cake topper there, but also the cake knife server set, beautiful crystal champagne glasses and lovely wine glasses too.
Some of the guests were commenting on the gorgeous décor of our reception tables. To help add to the atmosphere, I also bought some of their beautiful gel candles and placed them on all the tables, along with a few tiki torches here and there. Planning this beach wedding and reception was a lot easier than I thought it would be, with all the accessories and supplies they had. It couldn’t have been a more perfect dream wedding and reception, with the gorgeous ocean as our background and the warm sand under our feet.

The best new weddings I’ve seen in a while!
Thursday, December 3rd, 2009Its been many years since my wedding and I can’t believe how much everything has changed for the better, including the decorations. I found so many different decorations and every kind of embellishment you could think of on the internet. There were plenty of suggestions for beach weddings that I thought were very nice with little seashells, starfish and other oceanside designs. Just researching you could find great ideas for a summer or spring wedding. I saw gorgeous new wedding collections for all seasons. I know the winter wonderland wedding supplies were absolutely exquisite with that gorgeous sparkle of the winter season. Did you know that some couples actually have a winter wedding outside? I thought to myself having a winter wedding outside would be gorgeous in one sense, and a little weird in the other, not to mention how cold it would be. I think I’d rather have my winter wonderland wedding and reception, indoors, where it’s warm. Maybe a ski resort would be a good place for a winter wedding, with all the fireplaces and cozy winter atmosphere.
There were also quite a bit to choose from for autumn weddings too, which is really my favorite time of the year. An autumn wedding would be so beautiful because of the beautiful scenery with the colors changing and awesome fall scents in the air. When I got married, a long, long time ago, about the only options we had, was the traditional wedding, a justice of the peace or elopement. Now there are so many different types of weddings you can really have your ceremony exactly the way you want to. I’ve heard of weddings where the location is out of state or even the country and all the friends and famliy fly to that location to have the wedding ceremony. Everybody probably feels like they’re eploping too. There are also a great new wedding selection, from everything from traditional to destination weddings that you can buy for your reception.
My daughter is getting married in two months and I’m helping her to plan the whole thing and she has decided to have a country western ceremony and reception. When she told me her idea for the wedding, I thought oh boy this is going to be one weird wedding, but as we were planning it I saw how awesome it was going to be. She found cake toppers that have a western theme to them, plus everything she needed for her bridal table, including western champagne flutes. They looked stylished and fashionable. To make the atmosphere more western she put some hay bales, set up barbecue grills around and even hired a country western band. For the reception, she is going to put lights and lanterns all over. It amazed me when I found out that they were having the wedding at a ranch because I never heard of renting one for a special occasion before. She has everything all planned out to be more of a huge family cookout, hayride, picnic type of reception. Which when I think of it, sounds like a pretty good time for all. I was surprised to hear that they are going to have a barn dance in a good ole country western style. So, I’ve decided to get on the band wagon and go shopping for a pair of cowboy boots, hat and blue jeans and get ready to celebrate this wedding the country way. This is going to be a wedding to remember and will be talked about for years to come. Our daughter’s wedding was so much fun, that I’m considering have a country western renewal ceremony and reception for our anniversary.

It’s amazing what is out there and the variety you can choose from. If you want a beach party wedding you can find beach party accessories like beautiful little seashells and starfish, just to name a couple. There were also some pretty clever ideas for garden and other summer and spring weddings and receptions. You could get beautiful new wedding accessories for all 4 seasons. The season that was amazing was the winter season because of all the Christmas colors and decorations you can add to your reception. You would be surprised how many people have weddings in the winter and have it outside. That sounds beautiful, but it seems just a little too modern, and too cold for my taste. I think I’d rather have my winter wonderland wedding and reception, indoors, where it’s warm. The best place for a winter wedding would be in a setting with a warm cozy fire and warm atmosphere.
An autumn wedding is so gorgeous and one of my favorite seasons, and has lot to offer in wedding accessories and reception supplies. An autumn wedding would be so beautiful because of the beautiful scenery with the colors changing and awesome fall scents in the air. When I was married many years ago the only options you had was a church wedding or a county building to get married. Times have changed so much that you can plan your wedding day to be what you want it to be. There are even destination weddings, where you have a few close friends and family go along to the location of your choice for you ceremony. It’s like having a family elopement. Soon my daughter will be getting married and I have been helping her to prepare for her country western wedding and reception. I would of never guessed that a country western wedding would be so great until I helped my daughter plan hers. She ordered all the decorations in a western style decor. They looked stylished and fashionable. She hired a country band and placed grills and hay around for the party setting. For the reception, she is going to put lights and lanterns all over. They’ve arranged to rent a dude ranch for this event, which really surprised me, because, I didn’t know you could even do that. Many of the wedding decorations that she ordered online are a great match for her country western wedding. She bought bride and groom cowboy hats there for her and her fiance and the cutest little new weddings for each of their guests.
Instead of a normal reception it is looking more like a family get together that has hayrides and outdoor grills. I know it will be a lot of fun and enjoyment for everybody. Would you believe there’s even going to be an old fashioned barn dance too? Now that I knew what to expect I decided to get all the western gear, like blue jeans, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats so I can participate in all the fun. This wedding is going to be the wedding of the year and probably won’t be forgotten for a long time. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.

A tent was suggested just in case the weather turns out badly.

I couldn’t have picked a better place than the park for our wedding ceremony and reception party. If we should decide somewhere down the line to have a renewal wedding ceremony, I think I’d like to have it in the park again.
Affordable but Wonderful Graduation Party Invitations
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009I made a list of everything I’d have to buy for my best friend’s bridal shower, and then once I had that, I got to work. Goal number one was finding a birthday party invitation. Now I’m one of those women that really doesn’t like shopping where I have to fight the crowds, or wait in line for price checks, so I decided to go online and see what I could come up with for the bridal shower. That was the right thing to do. The options I had were staggering, and the cost was very low. The price I paid on some things were almost criminal. The script on the party invitations was silver, and the edges were pearl; they looked exquisite. One of the things I found was a little bridal guest book for everyone to sign and for the bride, to be, to keep a record of every gift she received. A particular design for a place card holder struck me as being really neat. Pink lilies adorned the place cards I picked out, and each guest received brightly-wrapped candies in a small plastic purse. They looked so nice on the party tables along with the decorations and party favors I chose for everyone. No matter what the reason for the gathering, they have an appropriate favor box to go with it. The boxes I selected had floral designs, and I piled them neatly on a cake platter and set them on the table with all the presents. It looked very decorative like that and each lady just took a gift from the plate. As thank you gifts I decided on manicure sets for everyone, and I bought a few extra gifts as prizes for the party games we were going to play. I found some random things to hand out as awards, such as unique key rings, little vanity mirrors, and special soaps.
Party game suggestions abound on the Internet. In the the game ‘Take It Off,’ each person put a bag over their head and they have to take off one piece of clothing when the leader of the game tells them to, and it doesn’t occur to all of the women to take of the bag; it’s very amusing to watch. It’s comical to watch that game unfold, and it’s a good way to see just how smart your friends are. There are other mirthful games that we did, like bridal bingo. Deciding to surf the web was an excellent thing to do since I saw all kinds of things I could use and a good portion of them were very affordable. The favors and invitations I bought were a bargain. Not only did I get high quality accessories, but they didn’t cost me half of what I had expected to pay for it all, and there were so many options to choose from. This site I found also has wedding invitations and favors, so I made it a point to inform my friend who was getting married about it, since I was sure she would want to know about this place. She’ll have a lot of options when she uses this site, and it will save her a pretty penny, which all newlyweds need. I know it helped to make this bridal shower a success. The attendees all adored their presents and had a wonderful time. Now that the party is over, I’m filling out the guest thank you cards thanking them for attending. The thank you cards, as you might expect, were purchased on the net as well. Now I have to go back online because I’m helping my friend plan her sons’ birthday party and they have quite a bit to offer there too.
Making the right choice when it comes to wedding party favors
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009It took me a while before I could decide on a theme for our ceremony and reception party. I wasn’t sure if I wanted a beach wedding, a garden wedding or a country western wedding. Then I thought maybe I should just stick with the traditional type of ceremony and reception. I also thought about a fantastic destination wedding. I thought about the tropical shores of Hawaii or the excitement of Vegas might be a great idea. I would probably go for the Hawaii destination. I soon put that idea to rest, there are too many people on our guestlist for a wedding like that.
Then I thought about a winter themed wedding. But a wedding in July just didn’t seem like the right time to do a winter theme. I wanted a wedding fit for a king and queen, and what better way to do that then with a storybook wedding. With all the accessories there are available, I could have the wedding of my dreams. There were even special wedding cakes you could buy that fit in perfectly with the theme. So I finally made up my mind. Cinderella and Prince Charming were getting married.
I had no problem finding the perfect wedding invitations online. There were also plenty of accessories and supplies to pick out for my storybook wedding. I bought the most beautiful wedding gown I could find at the bridal shop and had my bridesmaids and little flower girl in exquisite floor length dresses, all with tiaras. All of the groomsmen and the ring boy looked so handsome in their tuxes, but the best looking one of all, was my regal prince. I could feel all eyes on me as I walked down the aisle, and half way expected them to bow to their new queen. Everything about our ceremony was exquisite. All of the gorgeous décor only added to the beauty of our ceremony. Rose petals were falling all around us as we were leaving the church. Instead of a limo, we had a horse drawn carriage waiting outside.
There were accessories that helped me to make our reception appear as elegant as a king’s castle. I was able to find all the accessories I needed for this special themed wedding and some very lovely wedding favors for our friends and family. I had every wedding party favor done up in storybook themed favor boxes. I can’t believe all the accessories I was able to get for my fairy tale reception. I bought little coaches that made perfect place card holders, and exquisite champagne flutes with a storybook design. I couldn’t have pulled this off without the wonderful accessories they have for fairytale weddings.
Some of our guests commented on the themed décor and told us what a great time they were having. A friend of ours told us it was the most fantastic dream wedding she’s ever seen. I know I was impressed and it was my wedding. I’m so glad that I chose this theme and found so many accessories to help me make it happen. I wanted this to be special for our friends and family too, the way it was for us. I made sure their wedding party favors were of a storybook theme, just like our wedding cake and other accessories. I wanted to give our guests more than just favors, that’s why I chose gifts that could also be used as souvenirs. I wanted to give them something they would look back on with fond memories.
I had a lot of thank you note to take care of when we got back from our honeymoon. Believe it or not, I was able to get thank you notes with a fairytale theme. Maybe on our 20th anniversary we can do this again.
AMAZING Birthday Party Invitations

The first priority was finding a engagement party invitation. Dragging myself from shop to shop hoping to find a good deal or a decent selection isn’t my idea of a good time, so I went searching for supplies online. That was the right thing to do. I was really surprised to find so much and at such great prices. I even got a few items at a great discount price. The shower invitations were very high quality with pearl edges and silver writing. It wasn’t a place that specialized in bridal acessories, either; they had basic party invitations and bachelorette party invitations, too, along with other things.
The place card holders they had were adorable, so I got those, along with other supplies. Another item I picked out for the bride was a sign-in book for guests so that she could keep track of who gave her what gifts easily. There was also a cute idea for a place card holder that I really liked.
