Awesome Ceramic Wedding Favor!

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

I think the hardest part of planning a wedding is deciding on thank you gifts for your friends and family. You can go with delightful crystal favors, ceramic wedding favors, and even a more practical gift like household items. No matter which you consider, you’ll find more than enough to choose from.
I’ve even found ceramic favors for my country themed wedding ceremony and reception party. Favors made of ceramic are perfect for any wedding you want to have. I found these little black ceramic wedding trays and tea caddy s that I thought were really exciting. There were ceramic wedding gifts like candle holders, awesome tea lights, vases and more. Since I consider shopping for the wedding favors as the most difficult part of the planning, plus trying to decide from such a wide variety, I decided that it was the last thing I put on my list of things to do.
So, my tables were first on my list to be accessorized. Picnic tables were the choice for my country western décor, and I put red and white checked tablecloths on each with daisies in little metal buckets to use as centerpieces. The little barbecue grills I picked out as place card holders were so cute, and I thought they would make darling little souvenirs of our reception for our friends and family to keep. I figured little barbecue grills were a neat idea, since we weren’t having a catered reception, but instead, a large family cookout. We had cowboy shaped glasses to drink from and little tiny cowboy hats at each guests place setting to add to the western motif. I chose the really extraordinary honey pots and dippers, with a heart on the end on their handles, as the ceramic wedding favors for our guests, instead of the tea caddy I saw earlier. They were the perfect choice for our country western reception and they looked so cute. Although, I almost went with ceramic wedding candle holders, which were really awesome. Our tables looked fantastic and with all the surrounding décor accessories, it looked like the perfect down home celebration.
We brought in haystacks and scattered them around the area, and hung up white lights that twinkled, all through the trees. Our wedding cake topper was not to be believed, it was figurines of a cowgirl roping her man and hauling him to the altar. We all had a good laugh from our whimsical cake topper. We all had a night to remember, with dancing, partying and lots of great laughs. One of the most creative and enjoyable thing we had going on, was an awesome hayride for everyone, and the kids really got a big kick out of that.
Our bridesmaids, groomsmen, and all the people that cared enough to be in our wedding party received nice little gifts from us too. All the bridesmaids got awesome little ceramic wedding gifts, and the guys got these awesome cowboy steins as wedding thank you gifts. As far as a gift for our ring boy and flower girl, we found adorable little tee shirts that said ‘flower girl’ and ring bearer’on them. Our wedding party and all our guests seemed to like the wedding favors we bought them.
I ordered bride and groom cowboy hats for me and my husband, a few accessories like an adorable western themed guest book and pen set, and a gorgeous wedding album to store the memories of today in. All in all, this country western themed wedding was really more than I had hoped for, it was spectacular and we all had such a great time.
