An Online Shop for Glass Favors!

Saturday, June 20th, 2009

We decided to have our wedding ceremony and reception in the park with all of our friends and family around us. Thanks to all the terrific accessories and supplies I found online, our wedding ceremony and reception was a memory we’ll share for a long time. I found beautiful unity and taper candles for the ceremony and we arranged an arch of flowers set up on the ceremony site which really added to the already gorgeous flowers and greenery of the park. I picked out glass place card holders and glass wedding favors for the guests with a few extra crystal wedding favors as a little bonus gift. The crystal favors I bought for the ladies, because I think women prefer something sparkly that they can display at home. The guys however ended up with a more practical and useful favor that my fiance chose. We had all the trimmings of a wedding ceremony that you would have in a church service, and all the accessories a bride would need for the perfect wedding ceremony.

For a surprisingly low price, I picked up a matching set with a garter for the wedding, a basket for the flower girl, a pillow for the ring bearer, and a sign in book and pen for the guests. There was an enormous selection of wedding apparel available, including things like the combs for the wedding and the sparkling tiara that I picked out. The items I bought for the reception dinner were all ordered over the net; all I had to do was sit and wait for them to show up at my door. Talk about saving from aggravation – and saving money, too, actually, since I got some great deals. Our wedding cake topper was a unique custom made topper that had the bride and groom figurines look exactly like us. It was a really neat cake topper, and it’s so precious that I know I’ll be saving it forever. We got champagne glasses and cake serving utensils with crystal handles that had the words bride and groom embossed on them, and they were just gorgeous. Our close friends and relatives all received champagne glass wedding favors as a bonus wedding favor. As the basic wedding thank you gift, I ordered shot glass wedding favors for the men on our guest list, and beautiful crystal wedding favors for the women. There was a keychain with a small crystal container on it for perfume that served as the womens’ gifts; that would always have an extra supply of perfume handy to keep them smelling nice. I thought that was a really neat idea. They come packaged in their own little silver boxes with a beautiful bow and matching hang tags. I even found gorgeous and unique place card holders for our tables too. They were made of glass and the form of a bunch of grapes, and in the middle was a place for the card to sit. They made the tables at the reception sparkle.
The glass favors they have, I discovered as I browsed through their inventory, aren’t just for weddings. Like baby showers and wedding shower parties. There were baby carriages and baby socks and so forth that were really cute. Someday I hope to have a baby shower given for me and I hope they know about this online store I use. I was not limited by the selection, and I got some awesome deals. The money you save can always be put to good use, especially when you’re in the beginning stages of marriage.

I Preferred The Glass Favors For My Guests

I had my heart set on a garden wedding and reception, but after looking at all the different themes and the beautiful accessories there are to choose from, I wasn’t sure what theme I wanted to use. I thought about a beautiful beach wedding and reception and all the lovely ideas there are for it. Like tiki torches, floating candles and the sunset on the water as a background. I thought about all the fun everyone would have swimming and playing on the warm sandy beach. Dancing and singing, bonfires and seafoods, maybe even a clam bake. It all sounded so wonderful, like the perfect wedding and reception plan. I could almost picture it in my minds eye.

There was also a reception idea I found that sounded like a lot of fun, where everyone would be comfortable in casual clothes and be able to kick up their heels and have a great time. It was a country western theme. I mean there was everything you could think of to pull of the best down home reception party you could imagine. Cowboy hats and boots, cowboy boot glassware and the perfect western décor and wedding favors to go along with it. That sounded like a lot of fun to me too. We could use buggies pulled by horses as transportation from the little country church to the reception and maybe have hayrides too. Oh, that sounded like just the theme for us. Then I saw it. The most perfect wedding theme ever. It was a dream wedding to end all dream weddings. A beautiful storybook themed wedding and reception.

There was everything available from wedding décor to exquisite glass wedding favors for the guests. You should see the lovely wedding cake topper I found, and all the wonderful fairy tale accessories. We’re talking cinderella type coaches, beautiful castles and so much more. That was it, that was the theme I chose. I wanted to feel like a princess for my wedding and now I can make it happen. I found everything I needed to make my dream wedding come true. Even my invitations had a storybook theme, as did the place card holders, and gorgeous glass favors I chose. I picked out the most lovely and delicate thank you gifts for the ladies that attended our wedding, and my fiance picked out the gifts for the men. He chose these very unique shot glass wedding favors for them, with our names and the date of our wedding printed on them.

Everything in our wedding was so fantastic and I really did feel like Cinderella with the beautiful dress and veil and the very special tiara I wore with it. You know what one of my favorite parts of this wedding was, besides the ceremony I mean, it was the carriage ride from the church to the reception. It was so spectacular, and it was my handsome princes’ idea. We even had a long red carpet leading from the church doors to the carriage, and as we exited the church everyone was throwing rose petals and confetti. It was so wonderful, it was everything I dreamed of, and I made sure the photographer captured every single moment of it.

The reception was just as spectacular, and our first dance as husband and wife was a moment I’ll always remember. As my prince Charming waltzed me around the floor, I kept thinking how great it is that I could have the wedding of my dreams. I only plan to do this once so I wanted it to be everything it could be. And it was!
