Awesome cheap jewelry box

Monday, May 11th, 2009

Today, we have watch jewelry boxes, earring jewelry boxes, other types of boxes for jewelry, but years ago, pretty much everything was put into standard jewelry boxes. There are a lot of very decorative ideas for the many different types of boxes. For her wedding day, my daughter got her bridesmaids jewelry boxes, and one for herself as well. In fact, she found even more than that when she went shopping online for all of her wedding accessories and reception supplies. All kinds of ideas are on there for weddings in a specific theme, or more standard, old-fashioned types of weddings. Prince Charming and his lovely princess was the theme that my daughter and her fiance went for. She really did look like Cinderella at the ball in her radiant wedding gown and long veil, and I must admit my son in law looked just as good as Prince Charming in his stunning tux. It was a picturesque wedding. A horse drawn carriage with a driver in classical attire swept the two of them away from the church after the ceremony was over.
We all met at the reception hall which she had elegantly decorated with stunning flower vases and tulle draped in a carousel fashion with little white twinkling lights. The tables at the reception had silvery sparkles and darling flower arrangements, and the bride and groom table sat in front of an arrangement of red and white roses with ivy strung along an arch. The reception tables twinkled even more with the silver tea light dove place card holders she selected. The small jewelry boxes each woman at the wedding got as a favor had crystals and flowers beautifully interwoven in their design. All the guys got a key chain with a frog wearing a crown and royal robe on them, which represented the infamous frog prince. The girls that were in the wedding party got lovely wooden, silver plated cheap jewelry boxes that had black velvet lining. The date of the wedding and name of the happy couple were inscribed in the boxes. The bridesmaids were very appreciative of what my daughter gave them as a thank you gift. It was a box like I used to have, I had no idea it was a cheap jewelry box, it was so expensive looking. The men each got a commemorative inscription in a small plaque and a set of wine related gifts. Those were great, one of a kind thank you gifts, in my opinion.
The three-layered wedding cake they had was topped in debounair fashion with a small castle as the wedding cake topper. The cake knife set and champagne glasses meshed perfectly together with the cake. I couldn’t believe all the fabulous accessories she got and it didn’t cost her anywhere near what I thought it would cost. As mother and father of the bride, we felt obligated to cover the cost of the wedding, but they were adamant about not accepting our assistance.
I felt the warm tears flow down my face as the two of them gracefully floated around the floor for their first dance. It was as if I were watching the real prince and princess in the Cinderella story dancing together. The guys got so rowdy trying to catch the garter, during the garter toss, that they had me laughing to no end. Everything turned out perfect and my little girl got the kind of wedding and reception she always dreamed of. Now they are on a honeymoon she’s always dreamed of. She promised to tell me all about the great places they went to while on their honeymoon, as soon as she gets home.
