I was never big on keychain favors because they always seemed kind of dum, but then I went on the Internet to see what was out there just for fun. And they are inexpensive, but some are quite well designed. It wasn’t until after I spent some time studying the best key chain wedding favors that were available that I began seeing them as a viable option. Some of the artwork on them depicted various wedding or honeymoon scenes, travel desinations, or scenes in nature. My favorite and the one we chose for our guests were the key chain party favors with a neat little measuring tape attached. Those can really come in handy. That’s not all they have at this online shopping store I went to. They had a wonderful selection of supplies and decorations for weddings and receptions as well. The wedding cake topper we picked out for our glorious cake was a sight to behold. Our initials were embossed in silver in the cake topper and surrounded by tiny shimmering crystals that gave the cake topper a radiant glow. The handles of the cake serving utensils that we picked out had designs made to look like the bride and groom’s wedding day gown and tux. Our table at the recpetion shone brilliantly with crystal glasses for the champagne and wine, and the rest of the tables there were just as pretty. Everyone had champagne toasting flutes to go with the china I chose and the fantastic place card holders I found online. The design of the place card holders was pretty distinctive. The place cards went on top of a daisy petal, and the daisies sat inside a wee flower pot.
We were really impressed by the efforts of our caterers, with the several choices of salads, main entrees, and desserts. We got some really top-notch musicians to play at our banquet hall for the reception. We got the best band in our location thanks to some connections that my groom had. They knew any song that anyone asked for, and they knew it well. They did a super job on our song for the bride and grooms first dance of the evening. They got some business out of it, too: someone at the wedding hired the band right then and there to come to his boy’s engagement party and perform there sometime next month.
It really, truly was the most perfect wedding and the most perfect reception that I could have ever imagined. We will have a lot of memories captured between the photographer we had there and the video that we shot of our ceremony and our first dance. The two memory books I got will be more than filled up with all of the pictures we took that day. I also bought a table top album to have on display in our living room. It’s really beautiful with a silver metal frame with two lovely hearts. And then on top of that, I wanted to remember our Cancun honeymoon forever, so I picked out a picture album for that as well. I spared no expense on making sure that I was prepared with enough memory books.
Taking my vows with my husband in front of all of our loved ones is something that I will cherish for the rest of my life. There are an abundance of mementos I have stashed away to remind me what a profound and wonderful day it was. There were a lot of good memories of the honeymoon, too.
